Japan, a blend between tradition and modernity, small villages anchored in the past vs skyscrapers and technology, past and future. Japan's unique landscape is impossible not to fall in love; as a photographer I was overwhelmed by every aspect, its strong character left a mark inside.

Kanazawa

My journey in Japan began in this city on the west coast: Kanazawa. Its old town is known as the "Small Kyoto" for its resemblance to Kyoto's traditional wooden machiya houses in the Gion district and its historic geisha houses.
